Thai massage serves the same purpose as a stretch and relax massage, to stretch and relax the muscles.

Dissimilar to these two, Thai massage usually applies different techniques. The use of elbows, feet, hands and arms are some of the main tools used by the masseuse to perform these techniques.

Typically, this type of massage is done on the floor on a Thai massage pad. In this way, the masseuse has complete freedom to perform the technique with the correct force and angle.
